These are true case studies, we
can provide testimonials for any of the following case studies.
Mr & Mrs H - Essex
Mr & Mrs H had a large mortgage with a High Street lender
and wanted to consolidate some expensive loans and credit
cards. They also received two county court judgements because
they were behind with their council tax and water utility
bill. We arranged a secured loan instead of a mortgage as
the whole loan would have been at an expensive rate due to
the CCJ's. This meant they retained some creditworthiness
by keeping their mortgage with a High Street lender at a competitive
rate and only paid a small premium of the secured loan borrowings.
Mr W M - Reading, Berkshire
Mr M had been ill for 7 months and could not afford his mortgage
payment, he had received an eviction order and no-one would
offer a mortgage as he was still unemployed. We arranged a
temporary bridging loan until he could return to work. We
have since remortgaged the property providing an affordable
mortgage payment.
Mrs T - Edinburgh
Mrs T approached us as she was struggling to make her current
mortgage and secured loan payment which totalled £1100
per month. In additon to this her husband was still living
with her and had been declared bankrupt. We were able to arrange
an interest only mortgage with the monthly payments reduced
to under £600 in the first year and under £700
in the second and third years taking into account 5 missed
mortgage payments and her husband's bankruptcy.
Mr & Mrs P - Southampton
Mr P was the main income earner and was 70 years old. He unfortunately
suffered a stroke and could not work. Their home was worth
£1,100,000 and they had a mortgage and secured loan
totalling £500,000 and due to Mr P not being able to
work they fell into arrears with their mortgage and secured
loan. Due to this they had decided to downsize but repossession
proceedings had begun so we arranged a bridging loan to repay
the mortgage and secured loan plus provide some working capital
until the home had been sold.
